This was the start of a 4 year journey into understanding and changing the process to make it his own.
By building custom tools, moulds and a machine, He adapted the process to create modular, repeatable yet unique embossed patterns on 0.5 mm metal sheets of copper, brass, aluminium and other materials. Rather than serving as overlooked components, these plates become central elements in crafted interior objects, transforming an impersonal technique into a personal method of making.
